Jesse is a Pennsylvania native and Army Combat Veteran. Over the last 4 years of working for one of the nation's largest cannabis MSOs he opened eighteen dispensaries across 7 states, led and trained the teams that made the first sale of medical marijuana in both Pennsylvania and Ohio. Jesse is a pioneer in the cannabis industry who, believes in having good communication with regulators and industry partners to ensure the industry can continue to grow. Since the day he joined the industry, he knew there was something empowering about working in medical cannabis. Jesse aims for Black Bear Hemp Dispensary to be a place of development. He hopes to unite new businesses with insights and lessons learned. With Jesse being born to a Mercer County Dairy Farming family, he believes in not only giving back to the people of Mercer and surrounding counties, but also hopes to help fellow farmers. He genuinely believes enjoying what you do every day and doing something that makes a difference in the quality of other’s lives is the secret to success. He sums that approach up in four simple words “Have fun, sell weed.” Jesse serves as Black Bear’s COO and oversees all day-to-day operations, including regulatory, compliance, business strategy, and operational excellence.
